It’s really difficult when it comes to making choices. Say the situation is, you’re going somewhere for the day, like the beach or something. And you can only bring one best friend. Who the fuck are you gonna choose to bring? That right there, is the problem. Whichever choice you make, it’s gonna tell make them think, “obviously she likes her better than me”, or just whatever. And they’ll feel sad or mad or neglected. Obviously there’s the choice of not bringing either of them, but it’s beside the point.

And another example is partner projects. It’s either you and one, you and the other, or both of them together.. and then there’s you. Having experienced it, that shit blows. Group projects are like a lucky thing when you have to have a specific number in a group and you guys are exact. But still, it all leads to wise choices.

Oh, and then there’s fighting. The worst. When your two best friends are arguing or fighting, and you’re kind of forced to pick a side. Besides the choices of staying out of it until they resolve it or helping solve it, you’d kind of have to pick a side. Which, in my opinion due to personal experience, isn’t the wisest choice.

And so.. you know. Having more than one best friend might not be for everyone, myself included.
